A Pkmn Story: Chapter 11 - Garchomp

A Pokemon Story

Chapter 11
Garchomp

It's really been some time since this story was updated. Not even being sure if anyone is reading this, i'm still as annoyed as anyone of you would be, if you're even still at it, that it wasn't. University, work and personal matters got a little overwhelming, hated it that the story was put on ice nevertheless. I'm back now and I'll try to update more often. Things start to get a little more serious storywise, really hope you like it(although i doubt it really was worth such a long wait:P)! Any comment or review is highly appreciated dear readers; Let me know if you are there!

She sure kept secrets. As did Chris.
Like, Chris had a lot to hide obviously, or he wouldn’t act like this all the time. And one of his so called secrets was about to be unveiled as a little blue spot flew over the rocky territory directly in his arms, having accelerated so much that it nearly threw him to the ground.
‘Azelf?’ he said in anxiety.
‘Azelf!’ the girl shouted and looked back to her Garchomp. ‘Go, Garchomp, this is is!’
The giant landshark started trampling around and made its way in front of its trainer.
‘Go away trainer, this Azelf is mine! Garchomp, use Dragon Claw!’
Before he could even react, the Garchomps claws started glowing and it started running towards its target, which in conclusion was Chris himself. Unable to even say a word he just stared over to that giant dragon who was about to shred him to pieces when a purple barrier of light appeared in front of him. Espeon responded quickly and got in an attacking stance, making its red third eye light up and blocking Garchomp’s attack with Barrier and a consecutive Psychic. Garchomp was lifted up into the air and was pusched back in a matter of seconds, crashing into the crevices and producing avalanches around them. Chris looked over to the Espeon and to the Azelf that held tight to him in his arms and made a step backwards.
‘Where do you think you’re going?’ the girl shouted and threw a pokeball in the air. ‘Aerodactyle, go!’
The Aerodactyle that appeared was a lot bigger than Chris had them in his memory from all the archeology books his parents had at home. That ancient pokemon she had in her arsenal was seriously well trained and brought up, as was the rest of her team probably. She was after the Azelf so he had to do something. Luckily her Hippowdon had probably fainted, so she wouldn’t get the advantage over the weather with its ability.

‘What’s with you and that Azelf?’ he asked.
‘What’s with YOU and that Azelf? We are looking for it for days now. Why are you even protecting it, it’s not like it’s your own. If you stand in my way I’ll run you over. Don’t even think about catching it or whatever you’re doing right now.’

Chris smiled. It was on. Her Garchomp had gotten up and stood behind her, flapping its fin-like wings up and down in the air and the sand from the sandstorm scattered around. ‘Go Froslass!’ he said and threw his pokeball in the air.
